Rear Suspension 1/2 Elliptic

 

 

 

The rear suspension on Bugeye Sprites, Sprite MkII's and Midget MkI's are known as 1/4 elliptic due to the shape of the spring. If you have a leaf spring that looks like it is cut in half, that is a 1/4 elliptic spring. If you have a full length spring, then you have a 1/2 elliptic spring, which is seen on Sprite MkIII-IV and Midget MkII-1500s.
