If you have an unrestored Bugeye, I bet yours are broken!
These are the rubber check straps that stop your axle from falling when you get air in your Bugeye. Or when you jack it up. They matter. Check to see if yours are still good.
These work well and are inexpensive. Each car has two. Price here is for each strap.
