Ignition Warning Light Bracket (1 req'd)

One issue that can pop up when replacing the speedometer or tachometer with a modern replacement unit, is the ignition charging warning lamp. The incandescent bulb on the original gauge is part of the charging system, so if you replace the bulb with an LED, the charging system will not properly operate.

To help with this problem, we have developed a small bracket which will allow you to mount the light under the dash to keep the incandescent bulb in play while keeping it tucked neatly away. Simply pull the bulb & bulb holder out of the gauge (while keeping everything hooked up and operating) and install it into the large hole of the bracket. This bracket is designed so the securing prongs on the original bulb holder with slide right into place on the bracket. The other side of the bracket is designed to be mounted under the dash using the already existing hole that mounts the secret slide switch.
