Crankshaft Oil Seal Kit 1275 Engine

One of the best ways to reduce oil leaks on all A-series engines is to install this lip seal conversion kit. The original design was to sling oil back into the engine courtesy of the factory scroll seal. We recommend adding this aftermarket conversion kit to all engines... when installed properly, this upgrade will help reduce the amount of oil leaking from your engine.

The kit enables you to add a lip seal that rides on a small flat portion on the back edge of your crankshaft. The housing for the seal must be properly centered when you install the kit in order for the seal to be most effective. Instructions are included.

This upgrade requires some proficiency to get right-we would classify it as an intermediate level job, so if you are unfamiliar, please make sure to get help for a proper installation or call us and we will pick up your car and fit this for you.

Note: The aluminum disk shown (that holds the seal) comes apart into two pieces for installation around the crankshaft.
