If you are restoring your Sprite or trying to get your rear brakes to work properly, get a fresh set of brake springs. These hold your shoes properly in alignment and the steady springs are mandatory for proper braking (and they are often missing).
These parts help you do the job right!
Restorer's note: Steady springs sometimes break upon installation (which is why they are often missing), so make sure to get this kit so you will have some spares and you can get on the road that much faster!
Furthermore, sometimes these springs are not properly aligned by prior restorers and will be chafed and weakened. This is another reason to order a new kit.
