Lift the Dot Punch Tool

This is a handy tool if you want to sink lift dot fittings for your tonneau cover or convertible top.

Mark the location for your fitting with chalk, center the tool over your mark and hammer the die over a block of wood and you'll have a nice clean hole for mounting your female lift dot fittings. Sure you can make those holes with an exacto knife or other blade, but you'll find that this is very hard to control, and you'll end up with extra large holes and a lousy fit (ask me how I know). These tools ensure you will get a nice clean hole and a good fit once the lift dot is put in place.

We have a premium version and an economic version of this. The premium version is made entirely of steel, while the economic version is made of delrin. If you are a shop or going to be using this piece multiple times, we would strongly recommend getting the premium punch.
