We are currently offering for sale this complete Datsun engine and transmission package that was removed from a Bugeye in favor of a more traditional setup. It includes everything necessary to put a Datsun 1397CC engine and 4-speed Datsun transmission into your Bugeye! This includes all of the following:
-1397CC Datsun 210 engine, complete from carb to oil pan, including distributor, alternator, exhaust manifold, clutch, and more;
-Custom-fabricated engine mounts for Datsun mounting;
-Datsun 210 four-speed transmission, complete with shift lever, "Austin-Healey" shift knob, and custom-sewn shift boot with tin retaining ring;
-pre-modified transmission tunnel sheet metal;
-Complete nearly new custom-fit black hardura floor mat kit and tunnel mat tailored to fit the modified tunnel area (Trunk mat kit not included but can be made for extra $ at purchaser's request);
-Custom-cut tunnel trim panel covered in black vinyl;
-Driveshaft (car has Chevy Vega rear end so yoke will need to be changed or new driveshaft will need to be made)
This engine came out of a wonderfully-running car named Priscilla.
