Twist Fitting (Common Sense Fitting) Hole Punch

This is a handy tool if you want to sink the twist fittings for your tonneau cover or convertible top.

Mark the location for your fitting with chalk, center the tool over your mark and hammer the die over a block of wood and you'll have a nice clean hole for mounting your female twist fittings. Sure you can make those holes with an exacto knife or other blade, but you'll find that this is very hard to control, and you'll end up with extra large holes and a lousy fit (ask me how I know). These tools ensure you will get a nice clean hole and a good fit once the hardware is put in place.
