1" Slave Adaptor Fitting

One of the benefits of a 1" slave cylinder vs a 7/8" is the pedal pressure. The larger bore allows more hydraulic force, lessening the pedal effort. For this reason, many Bugeye owners have sought out how to get this later slave in their early cars especially when a five speed gearbox is installed. The main difficulty involves the hard line, from the master cylinder, to the slave. The 7/8" line runs all the way to the slave, while the 1" line has a flexible hose connecting the last 8 inches. The line and the fittings are not the same size, therefore, traditionally when adapting a 1" slave to a 7/8" hard line would require running a new line from the master cylinder....but not anymore! With this fitting, you can install the larger slave, and use the fitting to connect the 7/8" hard line directly to it. 

NOTE: This adapter is especially helpful in 5 speed applications, where the heavier clutch will require more pedal effort.
