Flywheel Ring Gear - 1275 Engine

This gear fits 1275 engines.

If you have the transmission off the engine, now is the time to inspect your ring gear. The starter motor engages the ring gear on the flywheel in order to turn over the engine. Over time, the teeth can wear down, chip or even break. If you need to replace the ring gear, heat the flywheel with a torch to be remove it. 

If you are removing the flywheel, you will need a lock tab and flywheel bolts.
