This 1098 engine was removed from a Bugeye in favor of a more powerful 1275. Its overall condition is unknown, and to be safe, plan on an engine rebuild before installation. The engine turns freely.

Original Points distributor with side entry cap and wires
Valve cover
Side covers with breather
Oil filter housing (oil feed line banjo bolt not included)
Water pump
Crankshaft pulley
1098 back plate
Flywheel and clutch with disc and pressure plate
Used set of H1 carburetors and manifold
Original 1098 exhaust manifold.
A starter is not included, but we sell both used originals (available here) and new hi-torque gear reduction starters (available here). You will also need a generator, which is also not included
This engine provides a great starting point for someone looking for an engine for their Bugeye or Sprite Mark 2! We can provide all the parts you might need to make the engine run. Sold as-is.
